Winter is not about sitting around in the cold in Estonia. Our winter can be about fun and moving around. To get the most out of your snowy vacation time in Estonia let us take you to meet the coolest and possibly the friendliest dogs around - Huskies.

Join us for an active day outside. Our local guide will take you to see the biggest natural waterfall in Estonia - Jägala that is often frozen in the winter and tell you about the Estonian life. After that we’ll meet the Huskies and their family for a sledding or hiking trip in the nearby countryside.

The opportunity for sledding depends on how much snow we have and this can change fast. Dogs need quite a lot of snow to pull the sleds and snow conditions are not always favourable. Don’t worry! If you are excited about meeting the dogs and aren’t afraid of a hike then Huskies are happy to take you for a walk. And we do mean the dogs walk you and not the other way around, get ready for an exercise.

You’ll walk away from your day with the Huskies with a smile on your face and smelling of dog, guaranteed.

PS! Please let us know if you are interested in hiking/walking with the Huskies. This activity is €15/per person cheaper than sledding. The default booking price will show the price for sledding.

"A magical time!!!"

We had the most perfect time on our husky sledding + frozen waterfall tour! Our guide was super friendly and very knowledgeable, we loved hearing more about Tallinn and Estonia in general on our drive plus the information at Jägala waterfall! The husky experience was so exciting and it was lovely to see how well looked after the dogs were. Our hosts at the husky farm were also super friendly and knowledgable about their many huskies. We certainly were in husky heaven, and luckily there was enough snow we got to try the sledding option too! I would not hesitate to reccommend Tallinn Traveller Tours to anyone! The highlight of our trip to Tallinn 100%.

"Doggy Delight"

picked up from hotel on time and taken to the husky 'farm' 45 minutes away. Dogs very friendly and guide introduced us to the art of kick sledding which is fine and good fun. The guy at the farm very good but perhaps it would be better if the lady who is in charge of the liability waivers didn't keep saying how very very difficult it was which made my wife somewhat nervous. its not difficult and great fun but you only get about half an hour actually sledding which as we were a private tour of 2 made it quite expensive for the real experience . the farm also offers the full 8 husky sleds which is what we thought we would get so ask about that too. Also check the snow conditions as you might end up doing the husky hike. Our guide was excellent and spent time showing us the local frozen (almost) waterfall on the way back

"Hangin with Huskies"

We had a fabulous time on the Husky tour. Our family including 14 and 19 year olds really enjoyed meeting the huskies and getting lots of kisses from them and taking them on a hike. Our wonderful guide and the owners of the farm couldn't have been better hosts. We would highly recommend anyone taking this tour.

"Estonia's winter wonderland!"

An absolutely perfect day! We were greeted at our hotel at the arranged time by our guide for the day - really sorry but I can't exactly remember his name, (hockey-mask guy on the posters in Tallinn!). He was brilliant - very informative and extremely friendly. Visit to the waterfall was worth many stunning pictures. The husky farm was an unforgettable visit, plenty time to meet the owner and all the dogs - again, very informative and welcoming. Sled ride was marvellous. My son didn't want to leave!

"I have no words, you just have to try this"

Did the husky experience. I don't have the words, you just have to try this. The Dogs were so awesome and super friendly and cute huskies (from all over the world, as we were told. The one I got was from Latvia, her name was Enna) and the family running the place was so nice and welcoming. Ploughing through snow with dogs is somehow a primal experience. At the end of it we were exhausted but super happy. A must activity in winter!

Meeting Point
