About this tour
Join our walking tour around Tallinn old town and discover some of the most fascinating aspects of Tallinn's rich history and present life.
Keeping the dry facts and figures at a comfortable level, our young and entertaining guides love getting down to the things that really matter. The best part is that they like to have fun while doing so.
You will hear many colourful tales of the city, its history and its people, as the walking tour guides you through the Tallinn old town, covering all the important places.
Tallinn old town walking tour is in small groups only so you'll be sure to get the guides' undivided attention too.
If you are into myths and legends then check out the Tallinn Ghost Tour as well.
What people say about Old Town Walking Tour
Ann gave us an amazing tour of the old Tallinn town. She was engaging and enjoyable, despite accommodating for close to 100 people. Definitely recommended.

One of the best tours we have ever done!
Thank you for the excellent two hour walking tour you provided during our recent trip to Tallinn. (Unfortunately we cannot remember the name of the guide, but she said her first word in English was “sandwich” from watching Scooby-doo cartoons!)
The tour incorporated the old town and we were provided with a range of informative comment on what we were looking at; this included the historical significance of buildings and places, lighter stories about events in the city’s past and personal anecdotes. We had many opportunities for taking great photographs and when it ended we had sufficient understanding of the city layout to enable us to see the few remaining things recommended in the tourist map. Without doubt this tour gave us the best possible impression of Tallinn and we will recommend both the city and this particular walking tour to friends and colleagues.

Did the Old Town Walking tour with Helen Savason on Aug. 14th 2012. It was great, very informative and fun! Definitely check it out while in Tallinn. I will absolutely try other tours next time I'm in town.

Grazie Kristina.

I've visited Tallinn alomost once a year since 2001 but the girls in the tent convinced me to take the free walking tour. I take the tour on Monday the 23.th of July and Margus was our guide. He made the tour very interesting with a good balance between history and today's situation. Thank you, Margus. And, I think, you got a good understanding of art (Statue on Freedom Square) ;-)
These people are locals who are genuine interesed in showing their city, especially the daily life, to the tourists.
My advice is go on their tours, ask them questions, follow their advice(s), You will not regret it.
All the best to you at Tallinn Traveller Tours. :-)

Despite the fact that it rained, rained, rained our tour guide,
Ana V. made experiencing Tallinn a fantastic experience. She is witty, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgable. I loved hearing her quirky facts and real opinons and not being fed the tourist line of information. We learned so much about the history of Tallinn & Estonia. We came on a cruise ship and chose not to take the cruise tours because I know they did not experience Tallinn as my group did.
Thanks Ana. You made the day wonderful and fun.
Thanks for the tip on Tallinn Vana; its sinfully delicious.
I highly recommend taking the Old Town walking tour ( July 2012)

Hello, Just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time when we visited Tallinn. We took the Old Town Walking Tour and enjoyed it very much. Our tour guide Ann Vaida was well informed and had lots of good information to give us about the old city and present day Tallinn and Estonia. She was friendlly , outgoing and well informed. Our tour was a leisure one and we visited and saw all that we had planned to see and more in the short time we had in port. We really enjoyed ourselve touring and chatting with Ann. We will highly recommend this tour company to others. Thanks for making our time in Tallinn special. Edwin and Marilyn Udoji. July 10, 2012

We spent a wonderful 2 hours on a private tour with Silja on 22 June 2012. Silja was an excellent tour guide! Silja's English was impeccable and her knowledge of Talinn was top rate! If it is possible, ask for a private tour with Silja. You will get insight of this beautiful city from a young native with great historical knowledge.
