What we'll do:

About the tour:

Join us for an amazing day in the Lahemaa National Park. Explore with us the Estonian countryside that is home to towering pine forests, picturesque coastline, and mysterious bogs. Discover with us stories and places you would never stumble across on your own.

Our knowledgeable local guides take a small group, up to 8 people, for a fun filled day in the Lahemaa National Park. You will learn about the history of Estonia and its people by visiting different places with our experienced guides. We will take you from the biggest natural waterfall in Estonia to the hidden old manor houses like Kolga or Sagadi, from abandoned derelict Soviet era Submarine Base to romantic little coastal villages like Käsmu and Altja.

Bring your sense of adventure and be ready to hike through the Viru bog on a 3,5 km wooden trail over the wetland. Bogs are prominent in Estonian folklore and the places to let your imagination fly. On warm summer days the brave can swim in the bog lakes.

During the day we stop for lunch either at a private home in Käsmu captain’s village (full course lunch €13) or at a local pub in the National Park. You’ll enjoy hearty Estonian cooking and don’t be shy to let our guides know about your dietary needs. Location of the lunch is subject to availability and the meal is not included in the price.

"Excellent day trip"

Excellent day trip outside of Tallinn. Definitely recommend it. Excellent guide (Kert) and we really enjoyed it. A little bit expensive though considering the tour operator didn’t have additional expenses other than the guide and transport

"Great location, great trip "

It was a fabulous experience, made memorable by our guide Kert

"Great value for money!"

We had a small group on public tour - packed out day, lots to see and minimal driving between the sites. Plenty of local (and some times personal) history added by our guide that really added colour, would definitely recommend.

"Dreamday in the forest"

We have experienced the day in Lahemaa National Park and really loved it. First of all, the nature is just gorgeous, even in early March. We also liked the content of excursion, had enough time for taking pictures and just enjoy the scenery. The whole atmosphere was very relaxing. Loved our guide as well. Andres, greetings from Russia :)

"Great day in Lahemaa National Park "

Our guide was great, his explanation was interesting. If you arrived prepared about what you would like to see, they really try to take you there. I suggest it 😊

"the countryside in snow"

A really beautiful trip though forests and coastlines in the snow. I have never felt so safe being driven in snowy conditions. Our guide was excellent, very open to all our weird questions and informative. We were thrilled to see a sea eagle on the journey as well! Many thanks for a great day out.
