Join us for an amazing day in the Lahemaa National Park. Explore with us the Estonian countryside that is home to towering pine forests, picturesque coastline, and mysterious bogs. Discover with us stories and places you would never stumble across on your own.

Our knowledgeable local guides take a small group, up to 8 people, for a fun-filled day in the Lahemaa National Park. You will learn about the history of Estonia and its people by visiting different places with our experienced guides. We will take you from the biggest natural waterfall in Estonia to the hidden old manor houses like Kolga or Sagadi, from mesmerizing forests to romantic little coastal villages like Käsmu and Altja.

Bring your sense of adventure and be ready to hike through the Viru bog on a 3,5 km wooden trail over the wetland. Bogs are prominent in Estonian folklore and the places to let your imagination fly. On warm summer days the brave can swim in the bog lakes.

During the day we stop for lunch either at a private home in Käsmu captain’s village (full course lunch €13) or at a local pub in the National Park. You’ll enjoy hearty Estonian cooking and don’t be shy to let our guides know about your dietary needs. Location of the lunch is subject to availability and the meal is not included in the price.

"Totally enjoyed the tour with the local guide"

Apart from able to visit and participate in the Viru Bogs at Lahemaa National Park, I get to understand and know more about Estonians and their way of life from a local tour guide, those information and stories are really interesting and priceless! The guide also brought us to a private museum which is a true sailor’s home, which makes the trip very personal and memorable! I would highly recommend this day tour!

"So beautiful, wish we got lost in the park"

Marju was a great guide and host; she has a fresh and positive energy and is very knowledgeable of Estonian history and culture. The sights visited were beautiful... a taste of Estonia beyond Tallinn, which makes you want to see more of this enchanted country.

"Great day out!"

We had a great day out with Jevgeni on the 26th December 2018. It was so lovely to see a range of landscapes in and around Laheema across the day, especially with someone who knows the way and is used to driving in the snow. Jevgeni was an entertaining and informative guide, and we especially enjoyed the stop at the kiiking swing and the amazing lunch at the Kasmu captain's cottage.

"Stunning Tour with Amazing Guide"

We had an amazing time on the tour. The day itself was perfectly balanced between the various activities/sights. Liine was an incredible guide. She was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and her stories about Estonian folk tales were really interesting. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Tallinn.

"Beautiful Winter Experience"

Our group was only made of four people incl. our guide. Kert is a jung very openminded guy. He had a lot of information and knew perfectly how to entertain our little group. The weather was just great. The sun was shining and we had warm temperatures. The melting waterfall, the hike through the wetlands and having a look to that quirky museum at the beach was just wonderful. I absolutely recommend you to do that tour!

"Just book it already, and get your walking shoes ready!"

The winter version of this tour rocked! Petting a frozen waterfall, hiking through softly silent snowtopped pine tree forests, making our way through the mysterious bog, visiting a lovely small maritime museum with original owners running it and still getting a beautiful coastal sunset view of glacial rocks by the shore. I’m very happy to have taken this tour, super comfortable with good amount of hiking. Jevgeni is a great guide, very local, down to earth, openminded and keen to adjust according to the group’s needs and ideas. On top of that, good humour with good knowledge of all sorts of things. Thank you again! Don’t forget to bring cash for onsite food/snack purchases!
