"Awesome day trip!"
We met our guide, Hanna-Liia promptly in the morning. She was awesome, providing great knowledge of both Estonian and Latvian history. I loved having just a small group of us in our comfortable mini-van. We stopped in several interesting areas along the way. It was a great way to visit small towns and villages in the countryside. The views were spectacular as well. I highly recommend making the trip from Tallinn to Riga this way.
"Fun and Educational Trip to Riga"
When deciding to move from Tallinn to Riga we could have taken a bus, train, plane or car. We decided it might be fun to take a tour and see more of the countries of Estonia and Latvia. It was definitely the right decision. And, driving with a local we learned so many things and saw things from her perspective. We had a wonderful time with Hanna-Liia. We'd definitely do again!!
"A highlight of our trip"
We loved our day trip from Tallinn to Riga. What a great way to see two lovely small towns, a national park, the border, and the training facility. Lunch was fantastic with a great beer! Hanna-Liia was our guide and she shared the history of the area and the culture of Estonians. She's so knowledgeable and fun to talk to. The drive was comfortable and she shared folk music along the way, including some she performed! Pick up and drop off were very easy. It's a long day but well worth it if you have the time. "The best and most fun way to go from Tallinn to Riga"
We had a great time transferring for Tallin to Riga. Hanna-Liia was our guide and driver. She was a perfect driver. We felt super safe the whole time. The van was in great shape and had strong AC. She played fun "folk" music that we have never heard before. At each stop she fully explained the history of the sights. The stops were just long enough to enjoy them. Hanna-Liia also had a great sense of humor. The lunch spot was perfect with good food choices and high quality beer on tap. We also got to hear a personal account about living in the Baltics from Hanna-Liia. If you have the time I highly recommend that you take this transfer tour.

"The best way to travel to Riga"
We came across this trip by accident, while looking for an ordinary bus to Riga, and we are so glad we did. Such a fun trip with a really great group of people. The minibus was relatively new and very clean, and our guide, Hanna-Liia, gave us a very warm welcome. The journey was broken up by a number of well-chosen stops in Estonia and Latvia, which let us see a bit more of the countries and learn a little about the history and culture of both. Hanna-Liia provided us with all the information we could possible want and introduced us to some fabulous Estonian folk music too. We enjoyed our visit to Tallinn and Riga immensely and this trip was very much a highlight for us. Thoroughly recommended!

This was a fantastic tour around Lahemaa national park. Hanna-Liia and Kristin were very knowledgeable and we were given lots of time in a small group to learn about the park and even have a swim ! Thoroughly recommend this tour

We had a wonderful experience on our drive with Hanna-Liia. We saw important sights which we would never have found ourselves, and more important, it was good to get to know a person from Estonia. Hanna-Liia's friendliness and enthusiasm made the day go quickly.

It was a great road trip and our guide the beautiful artistic Hanna did a great job despite the problems presented to her by the roadworks ongoing in front of our hotel. Vlidjani was beautiful , lunch was delicious Gauja with its forest and stream and sandstones was serene and quite magnificent and Celcis with its castle and tales was interesting with delicious pastries and tasty tea. Thanks Hanna for a great road trip!

I went from basic, logistical research trying to get from A to B (Tallinn to Riga), to stumbling upon this wonderful tour option. It transformed what could have been a flat “travel” day into a full, engaging, informative, and even fun(!) day of sightseeing and exploring. We spent the day with our guide Hanna, a local Estonian folk musician and learned so much about the history and culture of both Estonia and Latvia. The sights were well chosen. I was a little intimidated when we entered the war museum, but we ended up having a very interesting and eye opening conversation about the Soviet occupation in front of a map at the museum. The forest is beautiful. The bobsled track is fun.
"Great way to combine sightseeing with an onward journey"
We booked this tour when all other buses were booked—so we mainly just needed transportation. The stops were pretty good but I didn’t need the military museum in Valga. We were rained out of Cesis but the town looked lovely. There was no commentary while we were driving which is fine. It would have helped to have more information at each stop before we left the van so we could be prepared for what to bring—for example, we’ll take a 30 minute walk and then come back to the bus. We would then know to bring binoculars, water, etc.

I highly recommend this tour. The guide was phenomenal, with great knowledge and some fantastic stops. Even the lunch venue was great, with vegan options and some delicious kvass.

I enjoyed getting to see areas of Estonia and Latvia that I would have otherwise missed and appreciated her local perspective on history, culture, and current events. This tour was fantastic! Our guide Hanna-Liia was so knowledgeable about the history and culture of Estonia, she really made the experience. The tour itself was well organised and saw a good variety of sights. Loved the whole experience, a very unique way to travel. Would highly recommend to anyone.

This is the perfect way to get from Tallinn to Riga. Plenty of interesting stops, with nap time in the van in between the small group. Let us get to know the other interesting passengers I’m so glad we took this tour!
"Learning about Estonia through food"
Excellent tour in the Kalamaja area, visiting the Balti Jamaal Turg market and the Telliskivi Creative district. This was a great introduction to Estonian produce, foods and drinks with plenty of different stops to try a variety of foods. Hanna was a great guide, really easy company and willing to answer all my questions about the culture and history of Estonia. I had a really good time in her company and enjoyed all the foods and drinks that I tried. La Moo ice cream was a great place to end the tour!
