Join our entertaining trip from Tallinn to Riga through the picturesque towns of Viljandi, Valga, Cēsis, and Sigulda. We’ll bring you to places you would not find on your own and help you discover two countries in one day.

Our knowledgeable local guides take a small group, maximum of 8 people, for a fun filled 12 h road trip from Tallinn to Riga (click here to book this tour the other way – from Riga to Tallinn). You will learn about the history of Estonia and Latvia and its people by visiting several places with our experienced guides. We’ll take you from small towns and medieval castle ruins to quirky local sights and through the beautiful countryside.

Get ready to roam not one but two medieval castles, Viljandi and Cēsis, and discover how they became to be ruined. Learn about the history of Estonia and Latvia in Valga the border town between the two countries. We’ll visit the Gauja National Park where you can hike by the picturesque sand cliffs in Sietiņiezis and take in the sights of the medieval Old Town in Cēsis. Before we reach Riga we’ll stop in Sigulda to climb up the only Bobsleigh Track in the Baltics.

In Valga we also stop for a lunch at a local restaurant. Kindly let our guides know if you have any special dietary needs that we should take in account. Location of the lunch is subject to availability and the meal is not included in the price of the tour.

"Great way to transfer between countries "

Laura is very knowledgeable, very funny and extremely friendly. The mini van is comfortable and lots of room for luggage. The stops along the way break up the day and gives you time to wonder around for photos. Disappointing the museum was closed. The bobsleigh track was amazing!!

"Great way to see the country side on way to Riga!"

We had a wonderful day trip with our tour guide, Laura. She taught us about Baltic culture, history and traditions. We saw some historic sights, nature and had a wonderful lunch. Thank you Laura for a great experience. We would definitely book again.

"Fantastic tour!"

This is a great way to go from one city to another and see some beautiful and interesting sights and learn more about Estonia and Latvia. Sten was very knowledgeable and passionate about his country!

"Fatastic day"

The tour was absalutely fantastic. I highly reccomend it. A brilliant way to get from One City in one country to another. The tour included 3 castles, a national park a military museum and a bobsleigh track a fab mix of things. We were a small group of 4 plus the tour guide which was a good size fore me. As a solo traveller it was lovely to have a whole day spent with other travellers and not have to do the planning I just had to enjoy it. Our guide Mike was lovely really easy going told us lots of info about each place and interesting personal history too. Its really great value for money amd pretty much the highlight of my trip so far.

"28 September 22 Tallinn to Riga"

Fantastic! Mike is very knowledgeable, thoughtful, good at explaining the culture, and history etc. The ride was comfortable and Fun, singing sessions along the way and some of us took turns to be DJ! The sights was fabulous 👌 Believe me you get more than what you bargain! Thank you Mike, Traveller and the 3 fabulous girls ❤❤❤. Susan Low Singapore 🇸🇬

"Unique Experiencs"

Overall, an excellent way to transfer from Tallinn to Riga. Lots of history, stories and laughs. Might be nice to stop briefly at the bicycle training area, which we passed along the way. Also, military museum was closed which should have been known in advance. Church wss closed so we could only see from outside. Lunch location was great, which is right after military museum. Because it got dark early, bob sledding track was dark but we did visit as it is last stop before Riga. We had private tour. Mikelis was excellent tour guide with clear English and wonderful stories. Marii arranged this private tour on short notice because we were the only passengers on our booked group tour. Just slight adjustments should have been made for church and military museum being closed. Because this wss private tour, Millie picked us up at Tallinn hotel and dropped us at our Riga hotel, even carrying the luggage into the hotel for us.
