"Money well spent"
We upgraded to the private transfer (Riga to Vilnius) as we wanted to visit some different attractions (and also spend more time at some) to those on the group departure and it was well worth the extra expense. Beatrice met us at our apartment a few minutes early in a spacious van for a brief stop at Salaspils Memorial for a very brief stop as it started to rain. Beatrice was then able to time our stops at Rundale Palace and Hill of Crosses for longer stays while the sun was out and then drive during the rain (using a weather app we assume). We also had an extended stop in Kaunas where we visited the main churches, Beatrice showed us her favourite street art and then also visited Ninth Fort before proceeding to Vilnius, where Beatrice also assisted us in communication with the apartment owner. Overall it was like travelling with a friend rather than just a guide.
"Very entertaining"
Excellent trip
"Great Tour"
Perfect experience. Guide is nice, car is comfortable, and the points we visit are all very worth going.
The place to have lunch is beautiful and food is good yet price is not high.
"Highly recommended"
Great sightseeing trip from Riga to Vilnius. Many interesting stops and a nice restaurant for lunch. The tour guide Beatrice had great knowledge about the places we stopped.
"Must do"
Excellent tour, nice places to visit
"Fantastic day"
This trip from Riga to Vilnius is really not to be missed. The guide, Beatrice, was amazing (friendly, funny and very knowledgeable). The stops offer something for everyone. Highly recommended
"Fun, facts and not so many freeways"
As an alternative to flying or getting the coach between capitals, this is great. The journey times between stops are very manageable (with plenty of toilet stops for those who need it), the bus is comfortable and roomy, and the places you visit are varied and interesting. The highlight for me was the Salaspils Memorial Ensembe. Beatrice was a great driver and guide, and she has a wonderful singing voice! Lucky to share the journey with some wonderfully interesting fellow travellers.
"The guide is very informative and funny "
My family and I like the tour very much. Our guide Beatrice is very professional and cheerful. The tour can bring us to several main tourist sites in one day. It did save us lots of time.
"Nice and fun trip to Riga"
It was my right decision to travel to Riga with Traveller, instead of going by a local bus. The 4 stops are really interesting plus a nice restaurant with good taste and reasonable prices. The most important is the guide, who is Beatrice. She is a wonderful woman. She is funny and super friendly. She entertained the group quite well and gave us enough information, plus she has wonderful voice. However, I also have got a negative comment about my seat. My seat was just next to the driver. Actually, it was so nice to sit next to the lovely driver like Beatrice, However, my seat is so narrow. I couldn't extend my legs through the trip to Riga. I would suggest either to skip this seat or the tour guide should come up with an idea to rotate the seat. (I took the trip from Riga to Tallinn, one of our group suggested doing like this, which was very nice. We all can move around not fix to someone through the trip and fair to the one who sits at the bad seat.
"Riga–Vilnius Sightseeing Tour Bus"
The tour was brilliant. A wonderful way to get from Riga to Vilnius. Our guide was charming, witty, spoke excellent English and could sing. Kept us entertained for the whole trip! I'd certainly do it again.
"Flexible and informative"
We were met by our guide, Beatrice, who was welcoming and relaxed. She gave a good overview of the tour, assisted with the stowage of the luggage and got us underway promptly. We visited several places of historical interest, where just the right amount of information was given. The group followed Beatrice's lead and relaxed and joked happily together for the day. Her love of country and delightful personality made the rather long day a very pleasant and informative time for us. Highly recommended tour.
"Brilliant way to travel! "
Absolutely the best way to travel, I wish there would be more routes than there is today. I went from Riga to Vilnius with Beatrice and it was awesome! Brilliant driver and guide and we got to see all the interesting things on the way.
"Great transfer tour!"
It is a great and interesting method to move between cities in baltic states. We stopped at some very interesting spots on the way which are not reachable by public transport. Beatrice is our guide. Energetic, talkative and caring! Highly recommend esp for people dunno driving like me.
"Best way to see the countryside! "
Beatrice was an excellent, enthusiastic and friendly guide! She even went out of her way to return lost property to us, brining it to where we were staying later in the evening. The sites were well chosen to make the most of travelling between 2 capitals. Highly recommended!
"Amazing day trip recommended for everyone "
We took a trip from Riga to Vilnius with Beatrice. It was a truly amazing day. We saw a lot of interesting places which we otherwise never would have seen. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun. Beatice's excitement was very infectious and her personal insights and stories made this a perfect tour.
"Great Experience"
This is my second experience with your respectful company ,Tour is really exciting & Comprehensive , The Big Thanks goes to our guide Beatrice was amazing and so friendly.
"Riga-Vilnius!!!"
Great way to move from one capital to the next. I did the Riga-Vilnius trip. We stopped at some very interesting spots on the way that would take half or full day trips to visit on our own. Highly recommended!
"Great trip from Vilnius to Riga "
We had a fantastic day exploring the Lithuanian and Latvian country, and learnt a lot about the two places. Our guide Beatrice was incredible. She kept high energy all day and was so much fun.
"Very interesting. "
Very nice guide with plenty of information on country...
"A most memorable travel"
The driver/guides. (Laura and Beatrice) were excellent, courteous, informative, entertaining and charming. The buses were comfortable the food was fine, the pace relaxed, no time pressure. Traveller input and preferences were considered, .
It was a wonderful trip. I would definitely recommend it to others.
Thank you.
"A transfer with full of feelings and experiences!"
An excellent way to learn and feel new when travelling from Riga to Vilnius. Our multitasking guide was excellent to share really interesting topics around the route. I did not know that so excellent guides as Beatrice even exists. She was even able to sing to us!! Thank you so much!
"A lovely day"

"A fun day with a glimpse to the past"
This is the BEST option to travel between two Baltic capitals and visit important sightseeing spots which are difficult to reach by public transport. Our guide Beatričė has not only taken us to the sightseeing spots, but further back to the history and the heart of the two nations (with her lovely singing as well). I would highly recommend this tour to fellow travellers, and will definitely participate the Tallinn-Riga one in my next visit.
Just a quick word of suggestion: it would be great to have a sign of some sort (e.g. Vilnius to Riga) displayed for the meet up - although it was obvious in Vilnius as there was no other vans around, it may be a bit difficult for busier locations.
"Great tour!"
Lovely to see the attractions and the countryside.
Beatrice was an outstanding Guide/Driver. She is passionate about her work, knowledgeable, great sense of humour and considerate towards her clients.
We had a terrific day and enjoyed the company of the other clients.
"A good tour, great company "
This was a really good way to get to your next destination so rather than a sweaty bus try this instead and see some of the other things Lithuania and Latvia have to offer.
"A great tour for all ages"
We were looking for transport between Riga and Vilnius, as we had been using trains throughout but none are available during the week, and we didn’t want to sit on a coach for over 4 hours. An internet search produced this tour, but we were initially a little dubious about its suitability for older people, as the pick-up point was outside a hostel and the promotion video features only energetic young people! However, from the moment Beatrice and her colleagues arrived in their shiny vans with their friendly greeting, we knew the day would be good! The 4 of us 70-year-olds from the UK were accompanied by 2 young ladies from Singapore, and we had a great time together, with Beatrice providing an excellent balance of information, personal anecdotes and humour, as well as being a very good driver. Lunch was good (especially as we ordered ahead, so didn’t have to wait long for it), and the palace, hill of crosses and Kaunas were all most interesting and enjoyable. We arrived in Vilnius after an excellent, full day. Full marks to Beatrice, our guide, a journalism student with a wide knowledge and excellent English, always prepared to learn more! We can highly recommend this way of travelling between Riga and Vilnius (or vice versa).
"Fun Tour"
This tour is certainly a great way to see more of Latvia and Lithuania if you don’t have a lot of time in the countries! Our guide, Beatrice, was super fun and friendly.
"Well-paced interesting way to go from Riga to Vilnius"
I was pleased that I booked 2 of the day tours with this company, both Riga-Tallinn and Riga-Vilnius. The Riga-Vilnius tour stoped at four sites. The first was the peaceful yet moving memorial to victims of labour camps. Next was the Rundāle Palace. After that the Hill of Crosses. And lastly Kaunas, former capital of Lithuania.
Our guide explained the history clearly and with enthusiasm and was very knowledgeable about the region. She was also an excellent driver. The small size of the group was good as I guess we were therefore easy to manage - no poor timekeeping!
The highlight for me was probably Rundāle. The gardens were glorious, the palace delightful. The low point if any was lunch as the restaurant was crowded with other tours and struggled to cope; and the food was not great ( compared with others I went to in the region.
In general I would heartily recommend these one-way day tours.
"Fabulous driver and tour guide."
The young student who did all the driving, Beatrice, was delightful. So friendly and informed. Our whole small tour group was fun to be with too. Loved the Hill of Crosses. Thank you so much to everyone.
"Fantastic and perfect tour for us"
There are several selection to move from Vilnius to Riga.
Meantime, there are two attractive location for us.
We prefer to spend adequate time for both Rundāle palace and Trakai Island Castle, and finally we decided to use Personal tour.
Traveller tours provided the best experience for us with very friendly, kindly and deep knowledge guide, (who drive car), and we really enjoyed this tour.
I recommend to consider this option for you.
"Super fun ride with Beatrice"
We had an amazing tour from Vilnius to Riga. Our guide / bus driver/ singer is lovely and shared her love of her country to us and she's truly passionate about her job. I joined the tour for the hill of crosses but turned out I'm more impressed by the memorial at salaspils.
"Riga to Vilnius while sightseeing-awesome idea!"
Really interesting tours. I was happy to have the opportunity to visit both countries and to make the most of my short travel time in the baltic states.
"You shouldn’t miss this!"
Ultimately the best way to get from Vilnius to Riga. The 12h day tour is perfect for both sightseeing and getting transferred. Last but not least, Beatrice, our tour guide, is one of the best guides you’ll ever meet.
"Beautiful Baltics!"
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour from Riga to Vilnius. It was a great way to see the Latvian and Lithuanian countryside while learning more about the history of the two countries. The personal stories shared by our guides about their families’ own experiences really added to the meaningfulness of the day. I’d recommend this tour for anyone needing to travel between Riga and Vilnius who wants to get a better understanding of the history and culture of the Baltics.
"Fabulous driver and tour guide."
The young student who did all the driving, Beatrice, was delightful. So friendly and informed. Our whole small tour group was fun to be with too. Loved the Hill of Crosses. Thank you so much to everyone.
"A long but very interesting tour"
During this sightseeing tour we saw beautiful places in both Latvia and Lithuania. I would highly recommend it. The driver and guide Beatrice did a great job.
"Very convenient way to cross cities"
Comfortable, very well prepared and conducted tour. Interesting way to visit the country side of both countries including sites that not average tourist will visit. Well done!

"Riga-Vilnius one day tour"
Excellent guide, and wonderful singing!
"Best choice if you want to travel from Riga to Vilnius or the other way around"
We were very satisfied with the overall experience. The sites we have visited where very interesting. The restaurant where we had the lunch break was very nice as well. When booking we were wondering if we would get bored since the journey seems quite long. But not at all. We enjoyed. it a lot.
Our guide Bea was very friendly and tells u a lot about History, art, culture, etc. She is a very kind and passionate person.
We would definitely recommend this trip.
