Mariel Tour Guide

Mariel is a biologist by education and a nature lover at heart. Long before her studies, she found joy in exploring the outdoors—something that still drives her today. Life has taken her across different countries, thanks to a mix of studies, internships, and curiosity about the world. She loves discovering new cultures, meeting people, and soaking up the unique vibe of every place she visits. When she is not guiding tours, you’ll probably find her singing in a choir or out on a scenic drive, chasing beautiful landscapes.

"Relaxed tour through beautiful Lahemaa National Park"

The highlight was the bog walk, but the other stops were lovely as well. Mariel is a friendly and knowledgeable guide who led the tour in a very natural and relaxed way, perfectly in tune with the beautiful surroundings.

"Fantastic tour"

The guide was really good, knew a lot of things. Funny too. She spoke English like a native.

"Wonderful Lahemaa Tour"

Today, Mariel ran a wonderful relaxing Tour with us to Lahemaa National Park. Exciting countryside, interesting explanations, all not in a hurry with time for coffee and lunch.

"Great local food, great local host"

Mariel was one of the best guides we have had in a long time! She was very knowledgeable, engaging and considerate of all our requests. She asked questions to make sure we got the most out of out experience, and provided an amazing list of recommendations after our trip was done! Would highly highly highly recommend.

"Fun bus tour through the Baltics"

Our tour was small (3 people) which made it very personal and a great experience. Mariel was a great guide and a wonderful driver, and I think we learned a lot about Estonia and the cultural history and differences between Estonia and Latvia during the trip. I would definitely recommend travelling from Tallinn to Riga this way for people who have the time, as I think the small towns in the countryside are a great place to get away from the city and are usually easily missed.
