"Best tour of our cruise"
Eight of us booked the 5 hour tour while we were visiting on a cruise. It was our best tour with the best guide. Chris picked us up and dropped us off at the cruise terminal. Chris was informative and passionate as he told us about Tallinn history while walking us through the old town and pointing out important buildings and landmarks. The town is beautiful, and the history is interesting and sad at times, but that of resilient people.
We then got into the van went to Kadriorg Palace. Chris dropped us off at a great cafe and then drove up to the other end of the park and walked back. While he did that we ordered our pastries and sat down and rested for a bit. He caught up with us and we all finished up and made the walk through the park to the palace. We walked further to the presidential palace where the president actually lives. Unbelievably we were able to talk right in front of it. There were a couple of guards but there was not a sense that they need to worry.
We ended with a drive to an up and coming neighborhood in Tallinn that is repurposing old buildings and making high end apartments.
We were back to the ship with an hour to spare which is how we like it.
The day was wonderful. Chris was amazing. As we walked by the cruise groups with 50 people, we kept saying…. This was the way to go.

Kris our guide was so knowledgeable and extremely accommodating to what we want to know and do. We have learned a lot about Tallin with the old town tour, the area of revival where the train tracks are, the area by the port and the contrasting memorials built by the Soviets and the one built by the locals to commemorate those who were tortured and died from the atrocities and the presidential palace and the Kardiog palace that now serves as the museum.

"Great historical tour of Tallinn"
This was by far the best surprise of our quick trip. the five hour tour flew by. Really glad we booked this. Our guide was very informative and accommodating for an older person in our group. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a great background for the various buildings and sights we toured. I would highly recommend the five hour tour if you can. It really made all of our group want to comeback and explore more for our next trip.

Excellent way to see lots of places. Loved the Bob sleigh track the most. Military museum was just ok. Lunch beautiful.

Great tour from Tallinn to Riga, learned much about the history and culture of Estonia and Latvia. Guide was excellent, very interesting and great sense of humor. Perfect way to see many out of the way places on the way to Riga.

It was our first daytrip tour in Estonia.
We were a small group of travellers, so the tour became more friendly and fun.
Our guide had a lot of information about the places we stopped, and about the history of Estonia.
We had also the chance to pick some fruits in the forest.

This was the best option to immerse into the Estonian nature and rural culture. Trips like this leave you memories for life.

The tour was a fine balanced mix between wonderful places in nature and interesting historical places from medieval to Soviet aera.
It gave us an insight in Estonian society and a better feeling for the country and their inhabitants.

We did the Tallinn to Riga tour at the end of September and had Kris as our driver. I have to say this was one of the highlights of our trip to the Baltics and all four of us (Tom, Tim, Michael and me) would like to pass on our thanks to Kris for passing on so much of his knowledge in a friendly and engaging manner. We covered the history of the areas, visited some stunning sights and had some great conversations along the way.
Without doubt, this is the best way to get between the two cities.
